he story of Chai Spice Peanut & Almond Butter starts with the 2012 wedding of our co-founders, Mark and Megan. Mark invented the concept of a nut butter blended with chai spices as a fusion of some of his favorite things (nuts) and Megan’s (masala chai tea). Our Chai Spice Peanut & Almond Butter combines American agriculture in the form of High-Oleic Runner peanuts and heirloom Mission almonds with traditional tea spices of the Indian subcontinent, where “chai” is simply a word for “tea” in Hindi.
